I understand that this is the second countdown in less than 7 days. However, countdowns are my way of fueling expectancy and anticipation. I like them. Church of the Hills is launching in less than one month.
This is Mark and my third church plant and the one that has generated the most community excitement. The service initiatives that have functioned as the foundational element of this church is a pivotal component in our church planting methods. Building from the community service initiative is the emphasis on living life in community with each other [i.e., small groups/community groups]. Starting a church with existing community initiative projects, small groups and missions teams prior to launching the first service is setting up the church for success in its mission to connect w/ God, connect w/ others and connect w/ the world.
Therefore, as my personal countdown to 10 am on March 16th, I am going to try my best to post at least once a day. As you know, my time in grad school has made this close to impossible, but I am certainly going to try this as my anticipation exercise ramping up to the public launching of Church of the Hills!
You are invited to our First Service:
Sunday March 16 at 10:00am
