  1. Cold Heart?? – Ahhh! Warm feet! What a bleffing! šŸ™‚

Cold Play? – furely that doth be the fcottish play, Macduff?

Or poffibly Hamlet in Denmark’f chill Winter?

Be thou not difcontent Fair Maid, for mufic hath charm to foothe the favage Breaft.

If mufic be the food of ‘Love’… Play On.. Play On, Horatio.

  2. I know, Tam…what could I do? He was playing it and kept on saying, “have you seen this part?”…”watch this one”…”isn’t this amazing?”….and I responded, “No”, “no” and, “no”. But he likes me anyway…he just bought me ice cream.

OH, hislife, he does like to look at me…just ask him! Tonight, we went bathing suit shopping. He was so cute and made me feel so beautiful!

Now, wf, I had to read this one over a few times…I can usually pick which play you choose, so this was a great challenge! But isn’t it cold hands, warm heart? I’ll take cold heart warm feet though…primarily because you have 8 times the talent than I!!!

  3. awww – now you’re embarraffing me. Not Eight timef furely? feven if enough i fear. šŸ˜‰

You are quite correct thif time the play waf a mere play on wordf. Cold Handf, warm heart if the proverb.

Twelfth Night waf one of my quotef tho’…

O, it came o’er my ear like the fweet found,
That breathef upon a bank of violetf,
ftealing and giving odour! Enough; no more:
‘Tif not fo fweet now af it waf before.
O fpirit of love! how quick and frefh art thou,…

and i confeff to borrowing from Mr Congreve about the Charmf of Mufic.

  5. @wf: I’m going to start playing 20 questions w/ you, yet I fear I won’t have a clue how to decipher your answers if it’s not scripted by a noble English play write!

@kristi: I know, the problem is, I make up my own words to the songs…it drives him nuts!!! šŸ˜‰

@alece: talk about sexy avatar, hotness in a box, I tell ya!!!

  7. Anfwer One: George Eliot might well have been a Ewe dreffed af a Ram but i have never been fo inclined. You may rightly know my fex by my ‘pen’-name! šŸ™‚

In cafe my phrafing doth again miflead – while i remain a fwan and not a fheep, i am more rightly a ‘cob’ than ‘pen’ šŸ™‚

A normal dictionarie fhould fuffice for thofe šŸ˜‰

fwan if another name for a poet.
Cob if another name for a male fwan
Pen if another name for a female fwan
    D’oh if a deer – a female deare šŸ˜‰

Another q? or do i juft put all the cluef together in a lump fo that my identitie be obviouf to all?

    wf

  10. Anfwer three: I would if i could! šŸ˜‰

but i did not create ‘me’ – that role belongf to One who if above all and therfore, while a fair gueff, i cannot be he.

Orfino if but a creation of mind and in that i am like him, but i have a ‘real’ name – or real to fome by which all involved do know me.

It if a name they are well familiar with both in writing and in their nature.

  12. The name so long now I have thought
tis a word that softly beckons

    can it be
    that only me
    has guessed this plot
    surely not
it’s fun and games you see
the truth we will soon be

    revealed in love.

  13. Oh, I’m so slow…so, so slow.

Please don’t ask me to be on your treasure hunt…I’ll lead you to the nearest bakery rather than the box of wealth!

I love love though. love love.

  14. I’ll have the raspberry filled thank you. šŸ™‚ Dare we share a different one too?
You do realize this doesn’t do much for my NMFAPIMWLC? I know, I’ll just have to call a free day.

  15. Methinkf love will out!

“Ha! – The Prince… Monseur Love.” ( from Much Ado)

i thought that was a DEAD giveaway!??

Turandot: “His Name is Love!” – ‘Liu’
( Turandot Scene 3 act 1 is where we get Pavarotti’s famous ‘Nessun Dorma’ (None Shall Sleep) )

Well Done to His Life and also to Mandy perchance?

    No-one guessed Ric, the Poet?

Cathi – you are the treasure hunt QUEEN from now on!

    “TO THE BAKERY!!!”
I’ll have a choc eclair thanks!

  16. A smidgen of my brane????

I would not wish that upon you! – or anyone! šŸ˜‰

A following would be nice… but am not sure i could maintain a ‘calm, loving’ demeanour when faced with ‘students’.

i honestly don’t know how you manage to stay sane…

    wait a minit….???

    šŸ˜‰

  17. wf – I was thinking it was you Love on comment 8. Then when I read a few more, it seemed I was to find the “poet”, and of course it couldn’t be WS because you were WF.

    Thinking too much!

Great job, this was really fun.

  18. i was impressed w/ your inquisitive nature, hislife! You did some good guessing and finally relieved me of the pressure of guessing…I still want a wf/english dictionary. That’ll be the day!

  19. The hard work was remembering to type f for s – ‘as was the custom of the time’ (Grampa Simpson voice)

i blew it once on the last comment i think?

Man eating chicken? a la Ozzie Osbourne/Black Sabbath??

What about a jester? Shakespeare had clowns and fools in many of his plays!

Fools have got a ‘bad rap’ lately – they had a very important role in olden days – as scapegoats and were far from being ‘foolish’ as we use the term today. šŸ™‚

  20. yeah, I was the little girl, who when a riddle was delivered, I’d just keep on repeating “Green! Green!!!” hoping that one day, the answer would fit. I should have know from that early age that “love” is always the right answer!

    *sigh*

now miss hislife, blog hog all you want, you know you’re always welcome here at me.com!!!

But Love, my husband would just sit there w/ a box of KFC on his lap and a sign next to him saying “man eating chicken”…b/c he’s like that, that’s why! šŸ™‚ And of course you can be the jester…you have to don the hat w/ the jingle bells though! And I like the jester…playing cards keep me from giving them a bad rap.

And mandy mac, you spelled the last word wrong, it should have been, “cathi loves a good raddle, you know!”…why, I have no idea.

  22. Mandy – there can be great poetry in numbers! ( well i think there can anyway. )

One, Two, Three, o’clock, Four o’clock. Rock!
Five, Six, Seven o’clock, Eight o’clock. Rock!
Nine, Ten, Eleven o’clock, Twelve o’clock. Rock!
We’re gonna Rock around the clock tonight!

    I love words a lot too !

    and riddles. šŸ™‚

Maybe Mark and i could do a double act? Abbott and Costello? Laurel and Hardy? I’ll be the tall thin one! ( if NMFAPIMWLC works out the way i hope! ) šŸ™‚

  23. HEHEHE!!!!
i LOVE that kind of poetry.

lets see if i can make another one – this for drew:

one is how much more i need if fun is what i seek.
two is what the fun will be, if you are here with me.

    how’s that for offthetopofmyhead?

  24. the songwriter plus the riddler…what to expect next here on me.com?!!?!? I’m so honored!

How about this…one, two, nine, I love my cat, einstein! 8)

But as for the camaraderie w/ Mark, sir love, you will have to work stinking backward and forward b/c Mark’s blowing my socks off w/ his weightloss challenge since january. the jerk.

  25. a fair attempt on the ‘run’ miss M, but are saying the fun would be if i were there with you two? or just with one of you? ( can i pick which?) šŸ™‚ or did you still mean drew? šŸ˜‰

    wf

one, two, nine? – huh? – Why Not? šŸ™‚
